Hands-Free Health
Meta AI v3 Exclusive Feature
Meta AI can log a meal from a glance: say "Hey Meta, log this dinner" and it estimates calories, macros and portion size from the camera feed. It is US-only and 18+ at launch, and Meta has not published how accurate the estimates are.
Visual Meal Logging
Hands-free logging via voice command. No manual entry. Syncs to Meta AI food log, Apple Health, and Google Fit automatically.
Ask Before You Trust This
Meta has not published where this processing happens or what is retained afterward. If that matters to you, check Meta’s current privacy documentation rather than taking a figure from this or any other unofficial site.
Still New
This shipped with the Optics launch in April 2026. Treat it as a trend-tracking tool for now, not a settled feature with a known accuracy record.
Adjustable Fit System
Overextension Hinges
Ten degrees of extra hinge rotation, per Meta. Shared with the Blayzer, aimed at reducing temple pressure on wider faces.
Interchangeable Nose Pads
Standard (18mm) and Asian Fit (14mm) nose pads included. The Asian Fit pads sit at a higher bridge angle, reducing frame-slide during facial movements and keeping the AI camera stable.
Same AI, Different Face
Nutrition tracking and every other AI feature are identical between the two frames. Meta has not published a camera-angle difference between them, so pick this one on fit and looks, not on an accuracy edge that is not documented.
Optician Adjustment Available at Any Optical Shop
The Meta Scriber temple tips are adjustable by any optician who works with acetate frames — a standard part of getting properly fitted, not a special procedure. Ask about it when you buy the frame or the lenses; cost and timing vary by optician.
Check Your Prescription Compatibility
Meta lists Meta Scriber as supporting prescriptions from -6.00 to +6.00 total power, with 1.74 lenses available for the thinnest result. Use the Prescription Bridge to check your own numbers against that range before ordering.
Also Consider: Meta Blayzer
If you prefer a squared, rectangular frame and want the option of a Large fit, the Blayzer may suit you better than the Scriber.
